In the Infinity Bridge we meet a group of characters whose actions may well determine the fate of our world....
Sam
Sam lives with his mum, stepfather and irritating rugby-loving step-brother in a village just outside York. He loves alternative music and dresses as much EMO as a fifteen year old can get away with. At the posh school he is forced to attend this hasn't won him many friends.
And Sam has a secret, something that even his cousin Nick doesn't know: he sees monsters. Not just monsters, but bizarre scenes of other places, just floating in the air where no-one else can see. His older brother, Ben, saw things too... and now he resides in a psychiatric facility in York.

Nick
'Nerdy' Nick is Sam's cousin, and lives with his mother, Aunt Gaynor, in a village near Sam. Nick is a computer-loving, sci-fi guru, who spends most of his time clashing with his hippy mum. Nick is Sam's only real friend, and worries constantly that Sam will end up in the same situation as Ben.
Annie
Annie is a reclusive figure who lives in the same village as Nick. She is home-schooled by her grandfather, Albert, and rarely bumps into kids her own age. Although bookish and dressed like she time-travelled from the second world war, Annie is athletic in build and, as Sam finds out, rather adept at martial arts.
